My daughter Ella Lavigne turned 1!
I decided to make her birthday party simple, sweet and lot's of soft pinks for a gentle baby like her:)
I want to put my hand on everything when it comes to decorating so I think a DIY party decorations would be great. Yeah, I made it myself: invitations, cake, banners, labels, candy bar...etc. Lot's of lovin' and lot's of fun!
Ok, so here it is..
First, the invitation...
Cake and dessert table
little fairies - chocolate rocky road cake from mecay...
Hello Kitty decorations...btw, I made that little tree..haha!
I finally, got my hands on some fondant! my not so perfect fondant cake...
cupcakes and cake pops...
Unfortunately, I run out of time to bake cupcakes so I just used store-bought cupcakes then covered it with fondant and put on the toppers that I made.
chocolate covered cookies, marshmallows and cupcakes...
One of the newest and sweetest trends in birthdays is the candy buffet. A buffet filled with candy and treats and party favor bags is set up for a take-home treat. Candy buffet is a sweet way to give your guests a fun party favour. So I made one for my daughter. I wanted to add lots of color that's why I chose colorful candies and designs.
The Candy bar...
Candy Favors
other favors and game prizes...
